Wellbeing

The village hall hosts a number of weekly wellbeing sessions:

  • Badminton on Thursday evenings
  • Pilates on Mondays evenings
  • Yoga (see below to register your interest in regular yoga classes)

If you are interested in running another regular activity in the hall, please contact us to discuss rates etc.

Safeguarding Children, Young People, and Adults at Risk

All those running activities in the hall must ensure that any activities for children, young people and adults at risk are only provided by fit and proper persons in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and 2004, the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 and any subsequent legislation. When requested, organizers must provide us with a copy of their Safeguarding Policy and evidence that they have carried out relevant checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). All reasonable steps must be taken to prevent harm, and to respond appropriately when harm does occur. Relevant concerns must be reported.

Badminton

The local badminton club meets every Thursday evening. Contact Cyril to find out more.

Pilates

Viv Cullen runs Pilates classes every Monday in the hall from 6:15pm to 7:15pm. For contact details please see Viv’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

Yoga

Camille van Hoegaerden is planning to run a Yoga for Beginners’ Course in the hall. Please contact Camille to register your interest at www.heartlandsandwildedges.co.uk.
